Meet Arty Duck! Tattoos, Trouble & His Mission to Build a Ducknation!
One enormous duck. Zero shame. Big ambitions. And absolutely no idea how to behave in public.
Welcome to the wonderfully ridiculous world of Arty Duck, Exmouth’s newest feathered troublemaker!
Watch His Adventures Meet His FamilyThere’s a New Duck in Exmouth!
If you’ve recently spotted an enormous yellow duck wandering around Exmouth, don’t be alarmed. That’s just Arty Duck.
He’s the latest addition to Arty Boat, our award-winning creative studio in Exmouth, Devon, and home of the Signature Wooden Duck Painting Experience®.
Most business mascots are happy to wave, smile and pose politely for photographs.
Not ours.
He’s already been getting tattoos, making new friends, visiting local businesses and generally causing more trouble than one duck reasonably should.
And the worst part? He thinks he’s famous. 😂
🦆 The Adventures of Arty Duck
From questionable decisions to unexpected adventures, our giant yellow troublemaker is determined to make his mark on Exmouth.
Follow his antics on Instagram. We cannot promise sensible behaviour.

Arty Duck Discovers His Long-Lost Family!
Here’s something you might not know about Arty Boat…
Long before our giant mascot Arty Duck arrived, we were already creating personalised wooden ducks for local businesses across Exmouth!
Over the past few years, our handcrafted ducks have been finding new homes in local cafés, restaurants and businesses, each one specially painted to suit its new surroundings.
So when Arty Duck discovered he had relatives scattered all over town, he immediately announced he was going to visit them.
Unfortunately for his relatives, nobody thought to warn them. 😂
💛 Meet the Original Duck Family!
These are some of the original personalised ducks we created for local Exmouth businesses, long before Arty Duck’s latest adventures began.
🍸 Spoken
Looking rather sophisticated in his personalised Spoken outfit. Clearly one of the classier members of the duck family!
🥖 Duck Bakery
Complete with chef’s hat, apron and bread. At least one member of this family has a proper job!
☕ Coffee #1
Sporting his coffee-inspired colours and little yellow Arty Boat boots. A very well-dressed member of the family!
🍕 Emma at Prezzo
Another original Arty Boat creation, complete with fabulous rainbow boots! We think Arty Duck might be jealous.
🍦 And There’s More!
Our duck family also includes Seashore Ice Creamery and other local businesses who have welcomed our personalised ducks over the years.
Some of our ducks have ended up surrounded by coffee, others by delicious food, and some by ice cream.
Meanwhile, Arty Duck has been getting tattoos. Every family has one. 😂
🦆 Operation: Family Reunion!
Arty Duck has decided it’s time to reunite with his long-lost duck relatives.
Over the coming weeks, he’ll be heading out around Exmouth, visiting the local businesses who have given our wooden ducks their homes.
There’ll be family reunions, familiar faces, local businesses and probably quite a lot of embarrassing behaviour.
We’re not entirely sure what he’s planning. Frankly, neither is he.
But he has one very big ambition…
Keep following Arty Duck’s adventures on our social media pages to see where he waddles off to next!
