Planning your visit ▾
- Session times: 10:00am and 1:30pm, up to 3 hours (sessions finish on time).
- Ages: recommended minimum age 5 years.
- Pushchairs: space is cosy so we can’t accommodate pushchairs (and no baby-changing facilities).
- Friendly seating note: during busy sessions you may be seated alongside other guests.
How pricing works ▾
- £3.50 per person reserves your place and includes a drink and complimentary sealed pack of Lotus Biscoff biscuits.
- Your reservation is separate from the pottery or wooden item you choose to paint.
- You choose and purchase your piece during your visit — items are typically £12–£35 (wooden ducks from £26).
- Paints, brushes and other painting materials are available for you to decorate your purchased item during the session.
- Your painted item can be taken home the same day (we do not kiln-fire pottery).
Who can attend? ▾
Everyone attending must have a booked place and choose an item to paint during their visit.
Due to our limited studio space, we are unable to accommodate non-painting guests or additional visitors.
Prefer to paint at home? ▾
- You do not need to book a studio session to shop at Arty Boat.
- You are very welcome to pop in and purchase pottery, wooden items or our signature wooden ducks to take home.
- Items purchased on their own are charged at the price displayed in the shop.
- Alternatively, choose a Paint at Home Kit for £34.99, including an item to paint plus everything needed to decorate it at home.
