1. The Promoter

This free prize draw is organised by Arty Boat, Exmouth, Devon, United Kingdom.

2. Who Can Enter?

• Open to UK residents aged 18 or over.
• Employees of Arty Boat and their immediate families cannot enter.
• One entry per person across Facebook and Instagram combined.
• No purchase or payment is necessary to enter or claim the prize.

3. How to Enter

To enter, leave a comment on the official Arty Boat competition post on either Facebook or Instagram, telling us who you would love to bring along.

This giveaway is running across both platforms, with one prize and one overall winner.

All eligible entries from Facebook and Instagram will be combined into one random draw.

Each person may enter once in total. Multiple comments or entries across both platforms do not increase the chance of winning.

Following Arty Boat on Facebook or Instagram and sharing the competition are warmly encouraged, but neither is required to enter or increases the chances of winning.

4. Competition Dates

The competition opens when the official competition post is first published.

Entries close on Sunday 1 November 2026 at 11:59pm UK time.

Entries received after this time will not be included.

5. The Prize

The prize includes:

• Afternoon tea for two people.
• One wooden duck, pottery item or other available painting item up to a retail value of £30 per person.
• All paints, equipment and standard finishing materials.
• Both completed painted items to take home following the experience.

Painting items are subject to availability.

Each person may choose one painting item with a retail value of up to £30.

Any unused value cannot be exchanged for cash or used towards other items.

The prize cannot be exchanged for cash, sold or exchanged for alternative services.

Travel, parking, accommodation and personal expenses are not included.

6. Dietary Requirements

Afternoon tea for two is included in the prize.

Available vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free alternatives can be provided where requested in advance, at no additional charge.

Please inform Arty Boat of dietary requirements before arranging your visit.

Unfortunately, Arty Boat cannot cater for coeliac disease, nut allergies or severe food allergies.

7. Booking & Redemption

• The experience must be booked in advance.
• Booking is subject to availability.
• The prize must be used within six months of the winner being notified.
• Both guests must attend the experience together.

8. Winner Selection

One winner will be selected at random from all eligible entries received across Facebook and Instagram.

A fair and verifiable random selection method will be used, supervised by an independent person.

Reasonable checks will be made to remove duplicate entries across both platforms.

A record of the draw will be retained to demonstrate that the process was fair.

9. Winner Announcement & Claiming

The winner will be announced on Arty Boat’s official Facebook and Instagram pages within seven days of the competition closing.

The winner will be asked to contact Arty Boat privately through our official Facebook or Instagram page to claim their prize.

The winner should contact Arty Boat within 14 days of the announcement.

If the winner does not respond, Arty Boat will make reasonable efforts to contact them before considering a redraw.

10. Winner Publicity

The winner’s surname and county may be made available upon request to demonstrate that a valid award has taken place.

The winner may object to publication of this information by contacting Arty Boat.

This does not prevent disclosure to the Advertising Standards Authority where required.

Photographs or videos of the winner will only be used for promotional purposes with their permission.

11. Privacy

Personal information collected will be used to administer the competition and arrange the prize, in accordance with applicable data protection legislation and Arty Boat’s privacy policy.

Entry does not constitute consent to receive marketing communications.

12. Fair Administration

Fraudulent, automated or otherwise ineligible entries may be rejected.

Any necessary changes to the promotion will be communicated clearly and handled fairly.

13. Facebook & Instagram Disclaimer

This promotion is not sponsored, endorsed, administered by or associated with Facebook or Instagram.

By entering, participants release Facebook and Instagram from responsibility for this promotion to the extent permitted by law.

Neither Facebook nor Instagram is responsible for the administration of the competition or fulfilment of the prize.
